Billnäs Ironworks Ltd
Founded in 1641, Billnäs Ironworks is a historical cultural destination in Western Uusimaa, just an hour from Helsinki. Located by the river, the ironworks village uniquely combines industrial history, experiential services, and the most interesting events of the summer.
Billnäs Ironworks offers one of the summer's most interesting event and gig venues in a historical and rugged factory environment by the river. Concerts are held in the impressive Iso Paja (Big Workshop) – an 18th-century industrial hall where the atmosphere uniquely blends history and live music. There's no need to worry about rain, as events are held indoors.
The hotels, restaurants, cafés, and chocolate factory found in the ironworks village make the event day a perfect summer outing. Train connections are also easily accessible via Karjaa. At the Billnäs Wine & Food public event, the Excellence 39cl wine glass is included in the admission ticket price. At the Master Class tasting lectures, wines will be enjoyed from Hommage 45cl wine glasses.
Lehmann Reims' Hommage glass series utilizes new glass manufacturing technology, creating elegant and balanced glasses that offer an excellent wine experience. The series includes four different sizes of glasses: a 45cl white/sparkling wine glass, and 60cl, 69cl, and 72cl red wine glasses. The glasses were developed in collaboration with Gérard Basset, voted the world's best sommelier.
