Ainoa Winery

Ainoa Winery

Ainoa Winery's wines combine the pure berry aromas of Finnish nature with southern European winemaking expertise. Located in Hollola, just ten kilometers from the center of Lahti, this berry wine estate produces high-quality wines from Finnish forest products.

The raw ingredients for the wines include blueberries, cloudberries, lingonberries, meadowsweet, and spruce sprouts. The berries are fermented whole and pressed into juice only after fermentation, which brings depth, structure, and tannins typical of grape wines to the wines.

Ainoa Winery utilizes the best raw ingredients from northern nature in its wines: berries come from Lapland, and the sweetness of dessert wines comes from local producers' honey. Sustainable thinking is also reflected in the utilization of production side streams – for example, the pomace left over from the production of Valokki cloudberry wine continues its life in the Hilla beer produced in cooperation with United Gypsies Brewery.

Winery founders David and Paola Cohen moved to Finland in 2008 and wanted to continue their winemaking hobby in their new home country. They soon realized that there was no need to look far for perfect flavors: Finland's pristine nature offers unique raw ingredients for making high-quality berry wines.

Happy Days street food, operating since 2020, offers modern Miami culinary delights such as grilled burgers, Churrasco meat, Chimichurri sauces, Papitas fries, skirt steak, fried chicken, chipotle mayonnaise, Carne asada marinade, and Lime aioli.

Founded by Chef Jani Valtonen and event producer and bartender Aku Ojala, Happy Days draws inspiration from the food cultures of North and Latin America, which Jani and Aku have extensively explored. The food culture became familiar to Jani and Aku through extensive travels across North and South America. Miami, in particular, is one of both friends' favorite places, where the food cultures of Latin America, the Caribbean Islands, Cuba, and North America converge in a wonderful way, along with a sunny and relaxed attitude to life.

The preparation of Happy Days' food conveys passion and uncompromising quality. Only the best domestic ingredients are always used, carefully selected from the offerings of local Espoo producers. Burger patties are always freshly made by Espoo-based Expert Foods from the chuck of domestic Black Angus cattle. Churrasco steak cuts are also always made from high-quality domestic beef sirloin. The juicy burger and hot dog brioche buns are also made by Espoo-based Halmeen leipomo. All sauces and sides are always prepared in Happy Days' own kitchen. For example, the Chipotle mayonnaise uses authentic smoked chilies imported from Mexico. The Chimichurri sauce is made from fresh herbs, often from their own herb garden.

Spiral potato chips

Spiral potato chips

If you're craving a salty snack, then spiral crisps are the way to go. Fresh crisps handmade with a crisp machine. The unique preparation method gives the crisps their fun shape. Spiral crisps contain significantly less salt than regular crisps, but much more flavor. And best of all, spiral crisps are completely gluten-free and vegan, suitable for all gourmands.

The story of Spiral Crisps began in 2016 at a country market when Martti Martikainen started frying and selling spiral potatoes.

So spiral potatoes changed to spiral crisps, and eventually potato, sweet potato, and beetroot established their place at the Spiral Crisps stall. With these root vegetables, Spiral Crisps has achieved great popularity, but it is constantly developing and testing the possibilities of using different root vegetables.

Today, you can find Spiral Crisps' potato and sweet potato crisps in retail stores across Finland and in various shops specializing in small producers. In addition to these, Spiral Crisps actively tours festivals, markets, and other events, frying fresh crisps.
