Wine and chocolate are among life's greatest pleasures. In this lecture, you can combine these two and get to taste Ainoa Winery's wonderful wines together with delicious local Billnäs Chocolate, experiencing entirely new taste sensations. Ainoa's elegant wines are paired with Billnäs' melt-in-your-mouth chocolates. Paola and David will talk about their wines, and Gerald will discuss Billnäs chocolates.

16 years ago, after moving to Finland, Paola & David have developed fine wines from Finnish ingredients, mainly wild berries. Their wines have won awards in California, Germany, and prestigious French competitions, changing perceptions of what is possible when using wine ingredients other than grapes.
Gerald Coniel, in turn, settled with his partner Marina Sepping in the Billnäs area, where they intended to lead a peaceful life. When the Covid pandemic began, the entrepreneurial couple became enthusiastic about making sweets from berries and fruits, known in French as pâte de fruit. The product was renamed fruit cubes, which Sepping started selling in her shop in Fiskars. When the treats sold out immediately, they began to consider starting a company around the product. They traveled to France and Italy to study chocolate making, after which chocolate production began and quickly expanded. Now, their product range includes numerous award-winning artisan chocolate products, all handmade in Billnäs.
