MC Pegasus, Veneto - LA 1.8. 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Out of stock
Viinitie created Pegasus wines together with Mirko Sella, owner and winemaker of the Venetian winery San Cassiano. The wine series found inspiration from the Venetian starry sky, and was named after the mythical figure Pegasus. The constellation shining in the autumn sky of Veneto during harvest time invites us to reach as far as possible, and to do things that many do not believe possible.
Time: SAT 1.8. 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
This lecture will be held in English.
Pegasus - Veneto wines from Prosecco to Amarone
In addition to traditional Veneto grape varieties, with Pegasus wines, there was also a desire to playfully experiment with drying internationally known grapes, which led to the creation of the series' first wine, the appassimento-style Stellarossa. Over time, the product family has expanded to include Prosecco, Pinot Grigio, and Amarone della Valpolicella, together creating extremely tasty wines with unbeatable value for money.
Pegasus wines are made under the direction of Mirko Sella at the San Cassiano family estate, located in the famous Valpolicella district of Mezzane di Sotto in the Veneto region of Italy.
In this tasting lecture, you will get to know the wines of the region and learn more about the production and characteristics of Veneto wines, led by the cordial winemaker-owner Mirko Stella.
Wines to be tasted:
- Prosecco Extra Dry, Pegasus
- Pinot Grigio, Pegasus
