Viinitie created Pegasus wines together with Mirko Sella, owner and winemaker of the Venetian winery San Cassiano. Inspiration for the wine series was sought from the starry sky of Veneto, and the wine series was named after the mythical figure Pegasus. In the autumn sky of Veneto, the constellation shining during harvest time invites us to reach as far as possible, and to do things that many do not believe possible.

Pegasus - Veneto wines from Prosecco to Amarone
In addition to traditional Veneto grape varieties, for the Pegaus wines, there was also a desire to experiment a little with drying internationally known grapes, which led to the creation of the series' first wine, the appassimento-style Stellarossa. Over time, the product family has expanded to Prosecco, Pinot Grigio and Amarone della Valpolicella, together creating extremely tasty wines with unbeatable value for money.
Pegasus wines are produced under the direction of Mirko Stella at the San Cassiano family farm, located in the famous village of Valpolicella, Mezzane di Sotto, in the Veneto region of Italy.
In this tasting lecture, led by the warm-hearted winemaker-owner Mirko Stella, you will get to know the wines of the region and learn more about the production and characteristics of Veneto wines.
Wines to be tasted:
- Prosecco Extra Dry, Pegasus
- Pinot Grigio, Pegasus
- Stellarossa, Pegasus
